National Center for Civil and Human Rights

Project Components

  • Image research and licensing

  • Fact checking

When the National Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta prepared to open its expanded core exhibition in 2025, they engaged IMW to address two major needs:

  • Image research and licensing of hundreds of photographs, art, and publications for reproduction in the Center’s new core exhibit

  • Fact checking the existing core exhibition to prepare the text for redesign and printing in the new galleries

Working closely with the Center’s staff and exhibit designers, IMW collected thousands of images from which the client could make selections. IMW organized all images into multiple tracking sheets, complete with licensing fees, credit lines, and graphic numbers— all details essential for building a robust, multi-media exhibition. IMW also handled the licensing of all images and file organization for the exhibition designers.
