In 2023, Los Angeles’s Skirball Cultural Center engaged IMW Independent Museum Works to co-curate Frank Stella: Had Gadya, a special exhibition featuring this suite of the artist’s work, alongside the El Lissitzky series that inspired it.

IMW worked with Skirball staff to re-curate this traveling exhibition, adding a photo booth, reading area, an in-gallery soundtrack, and a playlist available on Bloomberg Connects. These thoughtful and fun additions to the exhibit brought new dimension to the traditional Passover song “Had Gadya” (“One Little Goat”), connecting traditional Jewish music with contemporary media and visitor engagement methods.
